Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated SOC Analyst L1 to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in cybersecurity and possess a foundational knowledge of security concepts and principles. Responsibilities include monitoring security alerts and incidents, conducting preliminary analysis, and escalating issues to higher-level analysts or incident response teams as needed. A basic understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies is essential. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and threat intelligence platforms is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to investigate security incidents and produce timely and accurate reports. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. A proactive mindset and a willingness to continuously learn and improve in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment are highly valued.

Proficiency in using security tools and technologies, such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Prevention Systems), and endpoint security solutions, is desirable. The SOC Analyst L1 will work closely with senior analysts and team members to detect and respond to security threats effectively. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential for success in this role.

- Assist in security tool configuration and tuning.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, etc.).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
