Service Lead Electrical & Commissioning Engineer - Siemens Energy, Dammam KSA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong technical background in MV/LV Drives, Generators, and Motors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SINAMICS Drives and/or Masterdrives, SIMATIC STEP7, TIA-portal, communication protocols Profibus & Profinet, and Siemens HMI systems. Knowledge of Siemens Protection Relays SIPROTEC is an added advantage. The role involves providing technical expertise, ensuring customer satisfaction, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver excellent service.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Provide technical expertise in the selection, engineering, and commissioning of VFDs and related components.
• Analyze system logs, diagnose issues, and make data-driven decisions to resolve problems efficiently.
• Interact with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to clearly articulate technical concepts, provide instructions, and communicate updates or resolutions effectively.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by understanding and addressing customer needs and delivering excellent service.
• Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and departments to share knowledge and contribute to the collective success of the service operation.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including scheduled maintenance, urgent repairs, and customer support.
• Complete a broad scope of technical tasks including service, installation/commissioning, maintenance, and evaluation of customers' equipment and systems.
• Determine priorities of tasks and actions and schedule measures accordingly.
• Support customers remotely and onsite, providing support in case of arising issues.
• Provide training to customers on how to use and maintain electrical equipment.
• Involve in technical design and developments for service offerings.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers.
• Respond promptly to incidents, investigate, and provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5-8 years of work experience in engineering and commissioning of projects.
• Strong technical knowhow of Siemens make VFDs (S120 / G120 / Master Drives / etc) with engineering and commissioning experience.
• Very good knowhow of PLC system and PCS-7 (DCS) is a must.
• Experience in handling projects involving multi-cultural, multi-national/regional, diverse groups.
• Strong technical knowhow on various products and systems such as Switchgears, Motors, VFDs, PLC, HMI, PCS, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify the root cause of problems, develop effective solutions, and implement them in a timely manner.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent in English (Written and Oral).
• Willingness to travel to sites and travel on short notice, with the ability to handle flexible working hours on a demand basis and work under pressure onsite & offsite.

• Knowledge of Siemens Protection Relays SIPROTEC.
• Experience in providing training to customers.
