This position reports to

Local Division Manager - IAMP

Your role and responsibilities

• Service delivery
• Perform on-site service activities like:
• Service jobs
• Installation and Commissioning
• Routine maintenance work
• On-site troubleshooting, analyzing, and rectifying of technical problems.
• Perform technical support, identify, and analyze technical problems through remote, when in-office.
• Customer approach
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation.
• Maintain a good relationship with customers.
• Identify new service sales opportunities and follow up.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing support according to customer order and expectation.
• Materials and supply
• Coordinate, prepare and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service/maintenance activities.
• Documentation and reports
• Prepare all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative.
• Reporting work done in a timely manner and follow up when needed.
• Ensure that documentation and software is updated and stored according to guidelines
• Troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot equipment failure and make recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Operational excellence
• Provide recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.
• Health, safety and integrity
• Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities.
• Report unsafe practices and incidents.
• Communication
• Towards the Customer
• Towards the Project Manager
• Towards the Service organization
• Towards the Sub-suppliers
• Towards the Line organization and Management
• Challenges
• Deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers
• Cope up with high demand for service within the time frame for Marine operations
• identify new Service business opportunities for ABB
• Willingness to travel (up to 40%) and work outside office timing as and when required.
  
  

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical field
• Knowledge, Skill and Experience are:
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant in Drilling system experience
• Good knowledge & hands on experience on Electrical propulsion, Energy storage ,Hybrid propulsion, Drilling systems, Drives ,motors and Integrated automation system
• Motivated and energetic with structured approach
• Positive attitude, solution oriented & work without supervision
