What will you contribute?

• A civil engineering degree.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in traffic and transportation engineering.
• Registered as a Professional engineer in the Province of Ontario.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
  
  

We are looking for a senior person with proven experience:

• With project management.
• In carrying out multimodal analyzes in a variety of transport infrastructures (highways, roadway, public transport, active transport).
• With various transportation and traffic engineering software such as Aimsun, VISSIM, Synchro and HCM.
• In developing policies, guides or conceptual plans and designs related to soft mobility (traffic calming measures, active transportation, etc.) and universal accessibility.
• Traffic safety analysis (safety auditing, relevant statistical methods and benefit/cost analysis).
• Knowledge of the Ontario Traffic Manual and Ontario's mobility ecosystem.
• Knowledge of municipal traffic policies.
• knowledge of transit operations.
• Knowledge of TAC, AASHTO, and other applicable Canadian geometric design standards.
  
  

Please Note That The Following Will Be Considered Asset

• Experience in ITS and advanced traffic management systems.
• Experience with temporary conditions and construction staging analysis and traffic controls
• Bilingual French/English.
• Secondary qualifications such as PMP, PTOE, RSP, PTP, etc.
