Job Purpose

Jobs at this level are responsible for carrying out a range of project management activities such as collating data related to project progress, monitoring project performance, acting as first point of contact for resolving issues and preparing relevant technical reports. Also, they are responsible for performing routine audits to analyse STC’s technical projects from a project management perspective.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate with seniors and understands the goals, plans and budgets involved for each assigned technical projects, to ensure implementation of assigned tasks within the budget.
  • Compile and analyses data related to project activities and develops standard reports, highlighting bottlenecks in the project implementation to seniors managers.
  • Participate in specific internal projects aimed at improving operational efficiencies in the project management processes.
  • Perform periodic audits to inspect STC’s technical projects from a project management point of view and reports audit results to relevant departments for articulating effective action plans.
  • Monitor the performance of internal and external contractors and ensures that the documented scope of work is executed, in compliance with established safety procedures, contractual agreement and standards.
  • Participate in analysing the best practices in the field of project management and provides support in effectively implementing these in STC, when required.
  • Collate all approved technical reports relevant to Technical Project Management, to ensure ease of access, when required.
  • Prepare standard documentation pertaining contracts and accordingly provide inputs to the relevant departments for required action e.g. invoice generation, vendor/contractor payment, etc.
  • Receive all queries and complaints related to project management standards and templates and escalates the same for issue resolution.
  • Participate in site acquisition process including owner, contract management, related authorization, procurement, and participate in field activities in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support in integration and optimization of project portfolio (planned and ongoing projects).
  • Liaise within the assigned team to build effective working relationships.
