Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Electrical & Mechanical) to lead the delivery of a high-profile hyperscale data center project in Saudi Arabia.

This mission-critical program involves complex engineering systems, high-capacity utility requirements, multiple design and construction packages, and is targeting Uptime Institute Tier III/Tier IV certification. The role requires strong technical oversight, stakeholder management, and end-to-end project leadership across design, construction, commissioning, and operational handover.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the delivery of electrical and mechanical systems for the hyperscale data centre project across design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Manage multiple contractors, including EPCs, MEP and electrical specialists, and design consultants, ensuring integrated and timely delivery.
• Oversee electrical and mechanical system installation, integration, and commissioning to meet Uptime Institute Tier III/IV requirements.
• Coordinate with utility providers, authorities, and stakeholders to secure approvals and maintain smooth project progress.
• Ensure delivery meets key KPIs related to safety, schedule, budget, quality, and technical compliance.
• Manage change orders, value engineering initiatives, contract variations, and support claims mitigation.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, and technical teams to maintain high standards of delivery.
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Degree in Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in project or program management, with significant exposure to mission-critical or data centre projects.
• Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure or hyperscale data centre projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, electrical distribution (high- and low-voltage), mechanical and HVAC systems, utility coordination, and commissioning.
• Experience managing fast-track construction programs and multi-contractor delivery structures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities in challenging project environments.
  
  

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience delivering projects in the Middle East or similar regulatory environments.
• Familiarity with digital project management tools and modern fast-track delivery methodologies.
• Solid understanding of commercial and contract management, including procurement, claims, and vendor oversight.
• Ability to operate effectively in a multi-organizational environment and maintain strong client relationships.
