Role Overview

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager (Agile, IT Service) to join their team, focusing on strategic industrial partnerships in the MENA region. In this role, you will drive IT and software projects using Agile methodologies, helping customers realize the full potential of their Industrial DataOps platform and modern cloud technologies. Your primary responsibilities will include project planning, execution, and ensuring customer success by achieving business goals on time and within budget. This role reports to the Head of Project Management Office.

Key Responsibilities

Project and Program Management

  • Manage complex programs consisting of multiple projects, ensuring successful program completion.
  • Act as Scrum Master or Agile coach for multiple teams, ensuring effective Agile practices across all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and roadmaps, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
  • Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies, ensuring timely and effective risk management throughout the project.
  • Monitor project expenses to ensure they remain within budget, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Facilitate clear and transparent communication among team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Manage project changes effectively, considering stakeholder needs and maintaining project scope integrity.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Lead project reporting efforts, providing clear and insightful data on project progress, performance, and potential roadblocks to stakeholders.
  • Conduct project retrospectives, gathering lessons learned and implementing improvements for future projects.


Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of the PMO and Account Management to align project objectives with customer expectations and business opportunities, ensuring a seamless flow of information for effective planning and execution.
  • Mentor and coach junior project managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.


Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Advanced certifications in Agile methodologies (CSM/PSM, SAFe, etc.) and PMP or PRINCE2 strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex IT projects, particularly in industrial sectors.
  • Strong experience in IT product development and IT service provisioning.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Mastery of project management software (ClickUP, JIRA, Asana, MS Project, etc.).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within the MENA region.
  • Familiarity with data sovereignty and residency requirements in Saudi Arabia.
  • Experience with cloud technology and digital transformation solutions.
