WSP is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in design and project delivery to lead complex building projects across the Middle East. This leadership role is central to driving integrated design solutions, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring successful project outcomes from concept to completion.
- Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of integrated design projects, ensuring alignment across architecture, engineering and specialist disciplines.
- Lead project set-up, including prospect handover, final contract and fee negotiations and internal communications on the project.

- Manage our project contract, including reviewing and negotiating initial terms and ensuring all requirements are fulfilled throughout the project.
- Lead the negotiation and final agreement for all sub-consultants and oversee the development of all associated agreements.
- Develop and manage the successful delivery of our scope. Work with the design team to identify any scope gaps, ensure key areas for coordination are agreed, and clearly communicate requirements to all team members.
- Establish “one team” culture, driving collaboration and proactive communication across the team.
- Communicate updates, actions and priorities to the project team effectively and efficiently.
- Serve as the main point of contact between our team, the client, stakeholders and authorities, manage expectations and resolve any issues.
- Regularly update the wider business and senior leaders on project progress and key issues, along with the proposed resolution.
- Develop and manage delivery against the project programme, working with disciplines to ensure collaborative updates and accurate resource allocation.
- Conduct and supervise design reviews, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage all WSP project commercial requirements, including internal processes, invoicing and variations.
- Lead all discussions and negotiations on variations, informed by an understanding of the financial impact on project performance.
- Work with discipline leads to ensure resource requirements are correctly reflected in the financial system, and lead the resolution of conflicting priorities.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
- Champion Health & Safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance across all project phases.
- Prepare and deliver project reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and clients.
- Lead and facilitate high-impact meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
- Coordinate final reviews, secure client sign-off and lead handover from design to construction.
- Drive business development efforts, including building strong client relationships, proposal development and presentations.
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project management within the buildings sector, with a proven track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary design projects.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience in the UAE or GCC region.
- Deep understanding of integrated design delivery and project lifecycle methodologies.
- Experienced in managing large, multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experienced in driving successful business development. Experienced people manager with prior line management responsibilities beneficial
