As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee the installation of commercial kitchen equipment, from planning and scheduling to quality control and troubleshooting. You will work both in the field and in the office, managing technical installers and engineers, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring project goals are met.

Responsibilities.

• Ensure the smooth coordination of field activities, including rough-in inspections and measurements, with contractors, customers, and stakeholders.
• Review equipment releases, approve shop drawings for custom/fabrication items, purchase orders, color selections, and utility information to release equipment timely, accurately, and within budget.
• Manage change orders by providing change proposals, RFI's and review bulletins for any required changes to equipment; Coordinate changes in the field with contractor and other impacted trades.
• Review design documents for accuracy and proposal compliance
• Support estimating and sales efforts for new projects; Provide pre-bid inspections, project meetings, scope reviews, and site inspections.
• Coordinate warranty calls and installation issues after turn-over of project for warranty period.
• Ensure a smooth handover from Sales to Projects and then from Projects to Client.
• Create clear documentation to support your handover from projects to support Deliver solutions on time and in budget
• Escalate and resolve service affecting issues that arise promptly.
• Ensure the provisioning and administration is well controlled and delivered within agreed timescales.

Required Qualifications

• Min 3+ years Project Management Experience (both on-site and off-site)
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering
• "PMP" certification is a plus
• Ability to oversee and coordinate the completion of projects within the defined scope, budget, and timeline
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with project planning software (MS Project, Project 365, Primavera P6) is a plus
• Prior experience on engineer software, (AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, etc.) is a plus.
