Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Package Manager to join our team!
In this role you will get to overseeing key infrastructure packages for the Airport Development Project, ensuring that all aspects of the work are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of construction project management, and the ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary teams.

Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Package Manager to join our team!
In this role you will get to overseeing key infrastructure packages for the Airport Development Project, ensuring that all aspects of the work are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of construction project management, and the ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
Package Management & Coordination:
- Oversee the execution of assigned infrastructure packages, ensuring that all deliverables meet project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of packages.
- Regularly review and update the project schedule and manage the day-to-day operations of the packages, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and clients for all package-related matters.
- Collaborate with the design, engineering, and construction teams to address any technical issues or project changes.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management, ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to the assigned packages, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Manage risk registers and ensure effective risk management strategies are in place throughout the duration of the project.
- Handle any unforeseen challenges, ensuring that they do not disrupt the overall progress or cause delays.
- Develop, manage, and track the budget for assigned packages, ensuring that costs are kept within approved limits.
- Monitor ongoing financial performance, report variances, and implement corrective actions to avoid cost overruns.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors to optimize costs while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Ensure that all infrastructure works are executed in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and safety standards.
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee that all aspects of the work adhere to design specifications and international construction standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the progress and quality of the work performed.
- Foster a culture of safety on the construction site, ensuring that all activities are conducted in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ensure all contractors and subcontractors follow the necessary safety procedures and standards, reducing potential hazards and incidents.
- Monitor and enforce environmental sustainability practices on-site, ensuring minimal impact on the surrounding area.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to ensure the efficient execution of all infrastructure packages.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and ensure that team members receive the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Cultivate a high-performance environment by fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Lead the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services required for the execution of the packages.
- Ensure that all contracts are negotiated effectively, and managed in compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality and timely deliveries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
- Experience:
- Senior Package Manager: Minimum of 20 years of experience in project management, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects (preferably in the aviation or airport sector).
- Package Manager: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing infrastructure projects, with a focus on coordination and execution of multiple project packages.
- Proven experience managing multiple project packages, from design through to completion, in complex environments.
- Experience in budget management, cost control, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of construction project management methodologies, contract management, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, Procore).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of local and international construction standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Certifications: PMP, PMI, or similar certification in project management is highly desirable.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with airport infrastructure and knowledge of the aviation industry is a plus.
- Technological Expertise: Familiarity with advanced construction technologies and software tools is preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to anticipate challenges and provide effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership: Proven track record in leading diverse teams, driving performance, and achieving project goals under tight deadlines.
