Senior Manager - MEP Mechanical Engineer (RES7)

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager - MEP Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems across various projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability are met.

As the Senior Manager - MEP Mechanical Engineer, you will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver state-of-the-art mechanical systems for entertainment, leisure, and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for the overall mechanical design coordination related to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring they align with project requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for multiple large-scale projects
• Oversee project development from conceptual design through to construction, ensuring all mechanical systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and professional growth
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to project delivery
• Review and approve design documents, calculations, and specifications for all mechanical systems
• Conduct regular design and site reviews to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines throughout project execution
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, providing updates and addressing concerns related to mechanical systems
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering, specifically in mechanical design for large-scale projects
• Proven experience in managing complex mechanical systems design with a strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide engineering teams
• Strong understanding of local codes, regulations, and industry standards related to mechanical engineering
• Proficient in engineering design software and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and collaboration
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
