- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive cost planning strategies for varied projects
- Ensure that cost plans are aligned with business objectives and that they drive project designs
- Conduct thorough analysis of project costs and provide strategic recommendations to management
- Manage relationships with external consultants and vendors to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
- Facilitate collaboration across multiple teams to ensure a unified approach to cost management
- Monitor and report on project cost performance and identify areas for improvement
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the cost planning team
- Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 9-11 years of cost planning experience, preferably in a managerial role
- Experience within the construction, real estate, or development sectors is highly desirable
- Degree in finance, engineering, or related field; further qualifications in cost management or quantity surveying (e.g., MRICS) would be advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate comprehensive reports
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
