Reports to: Commercial Director - Administration & Reporting
Objective / Purpose
The Data Analyst - Commercial Reporting (Senior Manager) supports the Commercial Director in analyzing commercial delivery data to identify early deviations against budgets and KPIs. The role prepares reports, consolidates inputs from Business Units, and ensures that insights feed into CDU dashboards to support timely and informed decision-making at senior management level.

The Data Analyst - Commercial Reporting (Senior Manager) supports the Commercial Director in analyzing commercial delivery data to identify early deviations against budgets and KPIs. The role prepares reports, consolidates inputs from Business Units, and ensures that insights feed into CDU dashboards to support timely and informed decision-making at senior management level.
Technical Responsibilities
- Collect and validate commercial data from Business Units and Delivery Partners
- Analyze deviations and trends against approved budgets and delivery KPIs
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for SDU and CDU review
- Conduct variance analysis on EOT claims, budget performance, and cost escalations
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of commercial submissions from BUs
- Support scenario planning and cost forecasting in coordination with the Director role
- Liaise with Finance and Procurement teams for data reconciliation
- Highlight risks and opportunities from data analysis to support decision-making
- Support the Director role in preparing executive presentations
- Maintain reporting tools and recommend improvements for efficiency
- Commercial Director - Administration & Reporting (SDU): Direct supervisor (weekly)
- SDU - Delivery Partnerships Lead: Indirect reporting for portfolio-level consolidation (monthly/quarterly)
- Business Units: Source data and collaborate on reporting (monthly)
- Finance & Central Procurement: Data consistency checks (bi-weekly/monthly)
- CDU Reporting Teams: Alignment with enterprise dashboards (monthly)
- Delivery Partners (Mace, Parsons, Jasara, etc.): Data provision and validation (monthly)
- PMCs & SMEs: Inputs into contract-level reporting (monthly)
- Degree: Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience: 8-12 years in commercial reporting, cost control, or analytics, ideally within large-scale projects in KSA/GCC
- Licenses / Certifications: RICS, CIPS, PMP desirable
- Skills: Strong quantitative skills, reporting tools (Power BI, Primavera), and ability to interpret data into actionable insights
