Objective / Purpose
The Planning Director will lead the centralized planning and scheduling reporting for Qiddiya, consolidating program-level time data across Business Units. The role ensures accurate delivery of time-related KPIs, provides senior management with insights on deviations, and enables informed decision-making. The Planning Director is also the central point for consolidating and assessing Extension of Time (EOT) claims, providing expert analysis across the portfolio.

Objective / Purpose
The Planning Director will lead the centralized planning and scheduling reporting for Qiddiya, consolidating program-level time data across Business Units. The role ensures accurate delivery of time-related KPIs, provides senior management with insights on deviations, and enables informed decision-making. The Planning Director is also the central point for consolidating and assessing Extension of Time (EOT) claims, providing expert analysis across the portfolio.
Technical Responsibilities
- Lead consolidation of planning and scheduling reports across all Business Units
- Define and standardize delivery-specific KPIs for time performance
- Oversee development of integrated program schedules and dashboards
- Provide consolidated visibility of schedule deviations, risks, and trends to senior management
- Coordinate reporting with CDU to align time metrics with commercial data
- Act as the central authority for collecting and analyzing all EOT claims across the portfolio
- Provide expert opinion on EOT claims, including cause, validity, and impact on program
- Benchmark Qiddiya's planning practices against global giga-projects
- Support scenario analysis and forecasting to aid executive decision-making
- Mentor planning staff and promote consistency of practices across Business Units
- Degree: Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Experience: 15-20 years in planning and scheduling with large-scale infrastructure or development programs; experience managing EOT claims at portfolio level essential
- Licenses / Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or PMI-SP preferred
- Skills: Expert in Primavera P6 and advanced scheduling tools; strong in forecasting and claims analysis; ability to consolidate planning data into executive insights
