Senior Data Analyst Job

Responsible for supporting the development, fine-tuning, and evaluation of domain-specific foundation models within Elm. This role involves leveraging advanced data engineering skills, AI model workflows, and analytical expertise to enhance the performance of multimodal language models (MLLMs) for text, image, and audio. The analyst collaborates with the research team to optimize AI-driven solutions and contribute to emerging technologies in robotics and autonomous systems.

Data Engineering & Preparation:

• Perform data collection, cleansing, and preprocessing for model training and evaluation.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines for high-volume datasets.
• Ensure data quality and optimize storage solutions for efficient access.
  
  

Model Development & Fine-Tuning:

• Support the development and fine-tuning of domain-specific foundation models.
• Enhance multimodal language models (MLLMs) for text, image, and audio.
• Apply best practices in machine learning, model optimization, and evaluation metrics.
  
  

AI Workflows & Experimentation:

• Read and implement the latest AI research and workflows in LLM development.
• Execute experiments to validate model performance and generalization.
• Optimize models for integration into robotics, autonomous systems, and AI-driven solutions.
  
  

Evaluation & Reporting:

• Conduct comprehensive testing and performance evaluation of models.
• Document findings and improvements in technical reports.
• Prepare dashboards and analytics reports to support decision-making.
  
  

Academic and professional qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Machine Learning, AI Development, or Data Engineering are a plus.
  
  

Years and Nature of Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in AI model development, including research, development, and evaluation.
• Strong hands-on skills in data engineering, machine learning, and deep learning models.
