We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh under our Project Management and Construction Management (PMCM) scope. The ideal candidate should come from a technical/engineering background and will be primarily responsible for overseeing and reviewing technical submittals, including shop drawings, material approvals, and supplier pre-qualifications to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh under our Project Management and Construction Management (PMCM) scope. The ideal candidate should come from a technical/engineering background and will be primarily responsible for overseeing and reviewing technical submittals, including shop drawings, material approvals, and supplier pre-qualifications to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve shop drawings, ensuring alignment with design intent and project specifications.
- Review and comment on material submittals and supplier pre-qualifications.
- Coordinate with the design team, contractor, and client to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure that all construction activities adhere to engineering standards, codes, and contract documents.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction supervision teams.
- Participate in technical meetings and progress reviews with contractors and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely response to RFIs and other technical queries.
- Support the PMCM team in quality assurance and control measures.
- Report to the Engineering/Technical Manager on key technical matters.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East.
- Proven experience working under PMCM or consultant frameworks.
- Strong technical knowledge in reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Familiarity with international standards and local authority regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP or relevant certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
