Senior Business Development Expert

Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing strategic business opportunities to drive growth and market expansion. This includes scouting for innovative solutions, generating valuable artifacts to accelerate client engagements, and establishing robust methodologies and frameworks for new business initiatives. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Develops Business development strategy, methodology, and framework in alignment with corporate strategy and market best practices.
• Identifies and scout for potential use cases, concepts, value propositions, solutions, etc. related to iot and mt product and services that can translate opportunities into sales within 12 months.
• Generates artefacts (i.e. proof of concepts, white papers, articles, point of views, etc.) that can generate opportunities and can be leveraged by accounts and solutions to accelerate proposal preparation and/or activate client discussions.
• Conducts market screening to Identify potential clients and create leads for accounts.
• Interacts and drives efforts with marketing, to promote product and service-related campaigns, leveraging produced artefacts.
• Designs Business development methodologies (Identification Criteria, Evaluation, Screening) based on global market best practices.
• Creates and disseminates Business development framework (Policies, Processes, etc..) in alignment with internal stakeholders to ensure proper handover of new business opportunities and efficiently manage the process from ideation to execution.
• Collaborates with Accounts to define the priorities and got to market product and services campaigns.
• Advises Product Development for product enhancements and or creation to be included in the product roadmap.
• Performs other responsibilities and tasks related to the job as directed by line manager
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent
  
  

Years Of Experience

• Preferred experience of (8) years, or equivalent in the area of expertise
  
  

Preferred Professional Certificates

" Certified Business Development Expert (CBDE)

" Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
