Senior Architect Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect Engineer with 15+ years of experience in Hospitality projects to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, project management, and construction supervision, with a focus on delivering high-quality and innovative solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Review technical submittals from the contractor, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and samples.
• Manage site inspectors and provide them with technical support and guidance.
• Ensure compliance of architectural works with project specifications and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve site issues.
• Monitor the progress and quality of architectural works installations on site.
• Participate in site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities related to architectural works.
• Review and comment on contractor’s requests for information (RFIs) and technical queries.
• Ensure that work executed on-site aligns with the approved construction schedule.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to landscape/hardscape supervision.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or more in Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in architectural engineering consultancy, with a focus on hospitality projects.
• Excellent knowledge of engineering systems, technologies, principles, codes, and practices.
• Ability to identify problems and develop innovative solutions with detail-oriented analytical approach.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• Excellent English Language skills.
• Willingness to relocate, if required.
• Must have a Valid SCE Membership (Professional or Consultant).
• Must have a Valid and Transferable Iqama (if non-Saudi).
