- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 4-8 years in hotel accounting with experience as Senior Accountant or similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Full hand on Opera and Micros point of sales functions/operation, reports etc.
- Experience in SUN system. Working on Peoplesoft will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of accounting management duties such as maintaining record of hotel space and tenant leases; verification of payroll, preparing government reports, filing tax returns, etc. as needed or requested.
- Communication skills.
- Bank and all Balance sheet Reconciliations.
- Assist in Completion of owning company reports, including Fixed Assets /FFE/Capex purchases.
- Assists in control of inventory, credit and collection, disbursements, deposits and remittances.
- Assists in enforcing, documenting and establishing adequate controls for all revenues and expenses and protection of assets.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and timely financial and operating information.
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
