Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the enterprise-wide cybersecurity program and security operations team
  • Develop and execute comprehensive security strategies aligned with business objectives and risk tolerance
  • Oversee security architecture design, implementation, and maintenance across cloud and on-premises environments
  • Direct incident response operations and manage critical security incidents
  • Establish security governance frameworks, policies, and standards for the organization
  • Lead security assessments, penetration testing programs, and vulnerability management initiatives
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and external security partners
  • Drive continuous improvement of security controls, processes, and capabilities
  • Oversee budget planning and resource allocation for security initiatives
  • Lead security awareness programs and develop training strategies for the organization
  • Report security metrics, KPIs, and program status to executive leadership
  • Guide digital transformation initiatives ensuring security requirements are met
  • Mentor and develop security team members while fostering a culture of security excellence
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Lead security technology evaluation, selection, and implementation processes
  • Direct threat hunting and security monitoring operations
  • Establish and maintain the organization's security risk management program


  • Qualifications:


  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 7 years in leadership roles
  • Proven track record of building and leading enterprise security programs
  • Deep expertise in security architecture, operations, and risk management
  • Extensive experience managing security teams and developing security talent
  • Advanced knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK) and industry standards
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, zero trust architecture, and emerging security technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in security governance and compliance management
  • Executive-level communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing security budgets and vendor relationships
  • Strong incident response and crisis management experience
  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, or relevant security certifications
  • Experience presenting to boards and executive committees on security matters
  • Strong understanding of business operations and ability to align security with business objectives
  • Advanced degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing security metrics and KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizations through security transformations
  • Experience with security automation and orchestration initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks
