Sea Logistics Sales Representative

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Sea Logistics Sales Representative with sea logistics sales experience and strong motivation to hunt for new business and take on an evolving role in Jeddah

Your Role

In this role, you will acquire, win and retain new customers. As a Sea Logistics Sales Representative of the company, you will maintain close collaboration with key stakeholders and maximize business opportunities to achieve agreed goals. You will spend most of the time in customer-facing activities, hunting for new business, and working hand in hand with the Customer Care Personnel (customer care tasks) on the same customers. You will take pricing decision in alignment with the Customer Care Manager, and following the Trade Management/Pricing recommendations. You will be account owner of sales accounts (personally own an account portfolio)

Your Responsibilities

• Generate new sea logistics business opportunities with a clear focus on SME accounts.
• Prepare quotations using our online tools and submit our proposal to the customers.
• Deliver presentations about our main sea logistics products.
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products.
• Report customer complaints to the Customer Care Team.
• Align with the Customer Care Team when onboarding new customers and to provide robust and complete content in
• Customer Promise/CCL handover form.
• Demonstrate superior Sea Logistics product and trade knowledge and monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline or relevant Sea Logistics Sales experience.
• Minimum 4 years experience in the freight forwarding industry in Saudi Arabia.
• Minimum 2 years experience in sea logistics sales in Saudi Arabia. with a focus on developing sea logistics SME accounts.
• Self-starter and proactive who is able to develop new business “Hunter” characteristics rather than “farmer”.
• Good command in English language and native Arabic speaker.
