Job Description

The Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role within our dynamic Pre-Sales team, directly supporting the sales force in crafting tailored solutions for our customers. You will collaborate closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams, leveraging your technical expertise to identify and develop business opportunities that align with customer needs. In this fast-paced and innovative environment, you'll engage with clients, present compelling technical solutions, and address complex challenges through a consultative selling approach. As a key contributor to our strategy, you will immerse yourself in industry trends, shaping Nokia's technology roadmap to foster long-term partnerships. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Collaborate with sales teams to evaluate and develop business opportunities at a regional level.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations to customers, articulating the value of Nokia's solutions.
  • Lead the creation of customer network evolution plans, positioning our technology to meet their evolving needs.
  • Identify and propose short- and long-term solutions aligned with customer requirements and market trends.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, addressing complex technical challenges and providing mitigation strategies.
  • Support the bid team during offer development phases, contributing to documentation such as Scope of Work and Bill of Quantities.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive customization and effective solutions.
  • Mentor and lead team members in technical assessments and strategic approaches to strengthen overall sales efforts.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in solution selling or pre-sales support.
  • Deep expertise in technical products, services, or solutions.
  • Proven ability to evaluate and develop business opportunities collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence customers.
  • Strong knowledge of IP and data center networking solutions: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, segmentation, QoS, and VXLAN
  • Preferred certifications: Nokia NRS/SRA, CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with complex technical solution architectures.
  • Knowledge of market trends and customer business models.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams during bid development phases.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business.
