Rotating Equipment Engineer

Brief Job Description:

• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for the rotating assets as per the RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) to improve the plant reliability.
• Execute condition monitoring (vibration, temperature, lube oil condition etc.) for the rotating assets based on the strategies and schedules to minimize unforeseen failures.
• Recommend and follow up preventive maintenance schedules for the rotating assets.
• Provide trouble shooting assistance and turnaround maintenance support to ensure asset performance is retained for the rotating assets.
• Routinely monitors performance and mechanical condition of plant rotating equipment. This includes analyzing performance, preparing condition reports giving appropriate recommendations.
• Utilize integrated asset performance management platform to analyze the rotating assets historical data for enabling maximized asset performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support, related to rotating assets, to plant operations & maintenance.
• Ability to set up asset maintenance strategies in engineering standards.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

• 10 years of work experience in process industry of Polypropylene (PP), Propane-Dehydrogenation (PDH).
• Work experience in process industry of operation and maintenance (diagnostics and troubleshooting) of major rotating equipment in petrochemical plants or refineries.
