Job Description
- The primary responsibilities of a Revenue Analyst/Executive in the hotel setting involve analyzing and interpreting data to optimize revenue and profitability.
- The role requires collaboration with sales and marketing teams to manage group segment and ensure alignment with the hotel’s financial goals.
- The analyst will prepare detailed reports and forecasts to support decision-making processes and drive revenue growth.
- The main objective is to maximize the hotel’s revenue potential while maintaining competitive positioning in the market.
- Individual is well versed with Saudi / Riyadh market and its micro market understanding.
- Analyze key performance metrics such as room revenue, occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
- Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies to ensure competitive market positioning.
- Prepare accurate forecasts and financial projections based on historical data and market demand trends.
- Monitor competitor performance and market shifts, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Generate regular reports and provide data-driven recommendations to the management team.
- Manage room inventory and distribution across various booking channels to maximize room revenue.
- Implement yield management strategies to optimize profitability during peak and off-peak periods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in hotel revenue management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of revenue management principles, data analysis, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and revenue management systems (e.g., Opera, RMS, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
