As a Reservation Agent at Crowne Plaza RDC, you will be the first point of contact for guests making room bookings. You will handle all reservation inquiries efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with IHG and Crowne Plaza standards. Your role will directly contribute to guest satisfaction, revenue optimization, and a smooth guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all incoming calls, emails, and online reservation requests in a courteous and professional manner.
Accurately input reservations into the Property Management System (PMS) while ensuring all necessary information is collected.
Maximize room occupancy and revenue by applying upselling techniques and ensuring availability is managed effectively.
Maintain knowledge of current hotel rates, promotions, packages, and hotel services.
Coordinate with Sales, Front Office, and Revenue departments to manage group bookings and special requests.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, or concerns and escalate when necessary.
Monitor daily arrivals and follow up on any discrepancies or special requirements.
Prepare and distribute reservation reports and forecasts as requested by management.
Follow brand and company procedures, including IHG Way of Clean and True Hospitality service principles.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
Prior experience in reservations or front office operations in a 4- or 5-star hotel preferred.
Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar hotel reservation systems.
Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
