Job Description

  • JOB PURPOSE

To Support the supervision of local content calculation methodologies across various levels, including economic analysis and reporting. Supporting the Management of target proposals, representing LCGPA in related committees, and in conducting import studies for strategic insights and decision-making.

  • KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Description

Research & Studies

  • Support the supervise methodologies for calculating local content across different levels (national economy, establishments, and projects), including updating and evaluating these methodologies.
  • Support the coordination the calculation of the 'Local Content in Final Expenditure of the Non-Oil Sector' indicator with relevant authorities.
  • Support the research and analyse of economic impacts by studying variables such as gross domestic product, production costs, consumption, and local content at various levels (national economy, establishments, and projects).
  • Support in preparing economic and periodic reports concerning local content in the national economy, economic sectors, and activities, along with other economic variables.
  • Support in calculating local content and propose targets for the national economy and economic sectors within the Kingdom, ensuring regular updates and coordination with relevant authorities.
  • Support in representing the Authority in committees and meetings related to national-level local content.
  • Support in Updating indicators for measuring local content at the establishment and contract levels.
  • Support in the study and analysis of imports, with focus on most developed categories.
  • Support in recommending of initiatives and procedures aimed at increasing local content.

  • Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Support in preparing a timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
