Role Purpose

The Registrar Paediatrics Surgery is responsible for providing patient-centric and evidence-based consultant-level care. This role ensures compliance with ethical and professional standards set by Al Salama Hospital and regulatory authorities

Key Responsibilities

1. Comprehensive Clinical Services

• Provide professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care

1. Clinical Governance and Quality Management

• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
• Maintain accurate medical record

1. Continuous Professional Development

• Ensure excellence in medical practice through continuous professional development
• Facilitate and support clinical clerkship training for medical students and junior colleague

1. Professional Integrity

• Maintain integrity in professional services by executing clinical services ethically and responsibly

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Minimum Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of post-qualification experience at the Specialist level in Paediatrics Surgery
• Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education program (fellowship/diploma) recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
• Certification and registration in a specialty recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
• Active and valid life support certification (e.g., BLS, PALS, NRP

Desired Experience

• At least 1 year of Specialist-level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties

Desired Education & Skill

• Speciality specific education and training
• Proficiency in an electronic medical record system
• Verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Effective communication and computer literacy (MS Office)
