R&D - Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

•Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of R&D projects, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and company goals.

•Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

•Lead the development of new products or enhancements to existing ones through innovation and creative problem-solving.

•Collaborate with product development teams to create prototypes, conduct trials, and optimize products for commercialization.

•Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance within the R&D team.

•Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship, fostering opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.

•Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, production) to align R&D efforts with business objectives.

•Communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management, providing actionable recommendations.

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. Advanced degrees or certifications in R&D, Product Design, or related fields are a plus.

•Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in R&D, ideally within the HVAC or manufacturing industry.

•Proven experience in managing R&D projects from conception to completion.

•Expertise in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and knowledge of HVAC systems, duct fabrication, and related accessories.

•Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and strong project management skills. PMP certification is preferred.

•Understanding of material science, manufacturing processes, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

•Ability to conduct and analyze experimental tests and simulations.
