Quality & Process Consultant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Consultant to support a strategic national initiative assessing QA maturity across multiple government entities in Saudi Arabia. The consultant will play a critical role in capturing and analyzing the current state (“As-Is”) of QA processes, tools, governance, and organizational structures. This role requires a strong background in software quality assurance, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement in complex environments.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing QA practices across various public sector organizations.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation reviews to gather insights into current QA processes, toolsets, environments, and reporting structures.
• Document “As-Is” QA processes, covering areas such as:
• Manual and automated testing workflows
• Roles and responsibilities
• Governance and compliance models
• Testing environments and infrastructure
• Quality metrics and KPIs
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare high-quality assessment reports that provide a clear and actionable picture of the current QA landscape.
• Work closely with QA Architects and transformation leads to feed the findings into the design of future-state QA frameworks.
• Recommend interim improvements and quick wins aligned with best practices.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to standards for clarity, compliance, and version control.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with 2+ years in a consulting, assessment, or QA process analysis role.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or public sector QA environments is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models.
• Strong experience in QA process mapping, documentation, and use of assessment frameworks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with diverse stakeholders at various levels.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.
  

• Familiarity with QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center, or equivalent.
• Exposure to standards and frameworks like TMMi, ISTQB, or ISO-based quality models.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills using tools like Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
