WSP are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Quality Lead to join our team for a prominent airport infrastructure site supervision project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the Quality Lead for our airport infrastructure project in Riyadh, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are upheld throughout the project's lifecycle. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to establish and maintain a robust quality management system (QMS) specific to the airport project.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Quality Management System (QMS) Development:
• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QMS tailored to the airport infrastructure project, in compliance with international quality standards and industry best practices.
• Quality Assurance and Control:
• Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures for all project phases, including design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and performance criteria.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project quality records, including quality plans, inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action records.
• Prepare and present detailed quality performance reports to project management and stakeholders.
• Quality Training and Awareness:
• Develop and deliver quality training programs for project personnel, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement among project teams.
• Quality Issue Resolution:
• Identify and promptly address quality-related issues and challenges, collaborating with project teams to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to address quality-related matters.
• Provide timely updates and responses to inquiries from stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality performance data, identifying trends, and recommending process enhancements.
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant quality management certifications are highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience as a Quality Lead or Quality Manager in airport infrastructure projects, with a comprehensive understanding of airport-specific quality requirements.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles, quality standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with local and international codes and standards applicable to airport infrastructure projects in Riyadh.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and a strong problem-solving mindset.
• Collaborative team player with the adaptability to thrive in a dynamic project environment.
• Willingness to be based in Riyadh for the duration of the airport project.
