Role Purpose
To ensure and oversee the completion of all planned QA / QC activities for each workshop job order and prepare & compile the needed QC documentation.

To ensure and oversee the completion of all planned QA / QC activities for each workshop job order and prepare & compile the needed QC documentation.
Job Accountabilities & Activities
- Full and deep experience and knowledge in turbomachinery. Ability to take all measurements, create reports and discuss with customers repair details accurately and properly.
- Coordinate with supervisors for the completion of all planned QC/Inspection/Test programs.
- Prepare necessary QC/Inspection/Test reports for the activities needed for the job orders executed in the workshop
- Coordinate final inspection and be responsible for the release of workshop job orders after ensuring all activities are completed as per the job record card and Documentation & Final Inspection check sheet
- Oversee the shop job record cards (route cards) are signed-off by the concerned workmen upon completion of each activity and follow up with the supervisors
- Prepare necessary inspection or QC records as per Documentation & Final Inspection check sheet and compile for issuing to customers
- Ensure that the Documentation/Certification package with correct records reaches the customer along with the delivery of workshop job orders executed
- Coordinate the completion of sub-vendor’s NDE activities and review the NDT reports
- Perform weld visual inspection and other inspection activities at the shop whenever necessary
- Update QA Manager on the statistics of workshop jobs delivered without QC Records on monthly basis thru’ documented logs
- Perform all necessary activities to achieve Quality objectives set for the QA Dept
- Compilation of Documentation/Certification packages for completed job orders
- Monthly statistics on compilation of QC records for workshop jobs
- Able to make drawings and work to close tolerances.
- QC in the APS department, verify the accuracy of drawings done by the APS Eng.
- Mechanical Engineer/Diploma Holder or experience in similar field / position
- NDT level-II in any 2 methods (PT, MT, VT, RT & UT)
4-6 Years of experince
