About The Role
The Professional Development Manager in Riyadh will support six new training programmes for teachers, teaching assistants, and school leaders. This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills in Arabic and English, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing demands. The role will report to a Director of Studies and work alongside 2 Cambridge Programme Leaders and 3 partner Programme Leaders, matrix working across the team who are all based in Riyadh. Programme participants are trained in groups of up to 20 in either an English or Arabic medium using the same programme materials.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a knowledgeable individual with expertise in pedagogy and training principles, fluent in both English and Arabic.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Studies in daily tasks and reporting.
- Liaise with and support Programme Leaders and Mentors, acting as the main contact for addressing queries and complaints.
- Monitor course implementation and feedback, ensuring quality delivery.
- Support assessment processes and liaise with Cambridge.
- Address and escalate programme risks as needed.
We are seeking a knowledgeable individual with expertise in pedagogy and training principles, fluent in both English and Arabic.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Relevant degree (Masters desirable)
- Teaching qualification and experience
- Experience leading and managing professional development programmes
- Proven ability to manage, support, and evaluate teachers/trainers
- Line management or teaching team coordination experience
- Record-keeping and reporting skills
- Flexibility and adaptability under time pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication in Arabic and English
- Time management, project management, and people management skills
- Proficiency in IT, including learning management systems
