Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Procurement Engineer (Saudi National) to join our team on King Salman International Airport (KSIA)! In this role you will be responsible for the Procurement of Infrastructure in accordance with applicable industry standards and ensuring compliance with applicable governance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assists in the preparation and issuance of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and budgets.
• Coordinates with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for projects.
• Reviews and evaluates vendor proposals, quotes, and bids, assisting in the selection of the most suitable suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery terms.
• Supports negotiations with suppliers and contractors to ensure favorable terms and pricing.
• Monitors the status of purchase orders, tracking delivery timelines and resolving any delays or issues that may arise.
• Maintains accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, and delivery receipts.
• Assists in managing inventory levels, ensuring that materials and supplies are available when needed, without excessive overstocking.
• Ensures compliance with company procurement policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assists in the management of supplier relationships, addressing any concerns related to quality, delivery, or performance.
• Prepares procurement reports and status updates for management, highlighting key metrics, issues, and procurement trends.
• Coordinates with the finance department to ensure proper invoicing and payment processing for procurement activities.
• Performs other duties as required to support the efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services for the project.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related roles.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, purchasing systems, and supplier management
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing purchase orders and supplier documentation.
• Proficiency with procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Excel).
