Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Procurement Engineer – Saudi National to join our team!
In this role, you will get to support a major roads and infrastructure PMO in Riyadh, KSA , contributing to the successful delivery of procurement strategies and ensuring compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage and coordinate all procurement activities related to materials, equipment, and subcontracted services in accordance with project schedules and budgets.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluate supplier proposals, and conduct commercial bid analyses to support transparent and competitive procurement.
- Review supplier qualifications, ensure technical and commercial compliance, and recommend qualified vendors for approval.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Maintain up-to-date procurement logs, material approval registers, and vendor databases for management reporting.
- Coordinate with design, construction, and contracts teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services at site.
- Support cost and schedule control by identifying procurement risks and recommending mitigation actions.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with Parsons’ standards, client policies, and applicable Saudi regulations.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Saudi National with a minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, commercial evaluations, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience in a PMO or client-facing environment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and Governmental Contracts or similar contract frameworks.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP procurement systems.
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS) is desirable.
