Job Details Basic Information of The Role Job Title: Procurement BP Associate Job Grade: 5 Sector: Corporate Services Division: Procurement and Admin Services Department: Procurement Reporting to (Job Title): SVP - Procurement & Admin Services
Job Purpose This section summarizes the primary purpose of your job, the major overall responsibilities. Lead the contract lifecycle to meet business needs and foster strategic business partners to ensure agility in the process and promote localization in the procurement value chain.
Key Roles and Responsibilities This section describes the primary duties and responsibilities to give an accurate, complete picture of the job & details Key Result Area required for this position used for the performance management. Functional Responsibilities 1 Contribute in the management and development of procurement activities and transactions for a selected category, in line with the SALIC procurement function's strategy and in close collaboration with relevant SALIC Business Owners. 2 Lead SALIC's procurement database, compiling all relevant information relating to suppliers and external services providers. 3 Maintain relationships with key government entities and authorities to ensure SALIC and its employees have the necessary permits and licenses. 4 Ensure and maintain procurement governance and compliance frameworks, including procurement bylaws, authority matrices, metrices, etc. to ensure alignment with relevant with local and international laws and regulations 5 Participate in the management of SALIC procurement contracts' lifecycle from request to sign-off, including contract drafting and renewals, in alignment with business owners and Legal Affairs function while ensuring that SALIC interests are protected and 6 Maintain relationships with a network of suppliers and vendors, and prepare a list of approved/ preferred vendors to ensure the services and products provided to the users meet the highest quality standards and at a favorable price and contractual terms. 7 Ensure the sourcing of products and services is compliant to SALIC's needs with the most efficient delivery and pricing mechanisms. 8 Ensure effective and sustainable relationships are built and maintained with key suppliers/vendors to enable SALIC to obtain optimal quality supplies and services.
