Key Responsibilities – Process Engineer
- Develop complete process design deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Hydraulic Profiles, Mass & Energy Balances, and design calculations for pumps, blowers, membranes, and chemical systems.
- Perform membrane and treatment process design using tools such as WAVE, IMSDesign, ROSA, AFT Fathom, or manual calculation for RO, UF/MF, MBR, Clarifier, Filtration, Disinfection, and Sludge Handling processes.
- Conduct chemical dosing design for coagulation, flocculation, pH correction, anti-scalant, chlorination, sodium hypochlorite, acid/alkali cleaning, etc., ensuring accurate reagent consumption and storage sizing.
- Coordinate process requirements with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Automation teams to ensure proper equipment selection, layout compatibility, and control logic integration.
- Participate in HAZOP, Risk Assessment, Design Review, and Value Engineering sessions, providing process safety inputs and recommending improvements.
- Assist during commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance testing, preparing SOPs, chemical handling procedures, and operator training materials to ensure smooth operational transition.
- Support proposal/bidding phase by preparing technical clarifications, process compliance statements, energy consumption estimates, and process guarantee calculations as required by client specifications.
