Role Summery:
A highly organized and detail-oriented Planner Maintenance to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced hot rolling mill environment, The Planner Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and capital projects. This role will involve scheduling, coordinating resources, and ensuring that all maintenance activities are performed safely, on time, and in compliance with industry standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- 1. Develop and maintain a detailed maintenance plan for both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- 2. Create and optimize weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- 3. Work closely with production teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules.
- 4. Review, prioritize, and generate work orders based on urgency, safety concerns, and operational needs.
- 5. Coordinate with maintenance technicians, spare parts suppliers, and external contractors to ensure all resources are available to carry out maintenance tasks efficiently.
- 6. Monitor performance indicators such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), making adjustments to the PM schedule as needed.
- 7. Analyze trends in equipment performance and failure rates to proactively address potential issues before they impact production.
- 8. Support the development of safe work procedures and risk assessments for maintenance activities.
Qualification and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a hot rolling milt or steel production facility with a proven ability to plant prioritize and execute maintenance schedules.
Skills:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in the use of maintenance planning tools and software.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
