Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and timelines to ensure alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and develop comprehensive project plans.
Identify potential delays and risks and recommend mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
Prepare detailed progress reports, including schedule updates, resource allocation, and project status for internal and external stakeholders.
Utilize planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools to create and manage project schedules.
Analyze project progress, resource usage, and critical path activities to ensure efficient project execution.
Coordinate with the construction team to validate work progress and update schedules accordingly.
Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of contractor schedules.
Ensure that all planning and scheduling activities are in compliance with project requirements and company standards.
Provide input for cost and resource forecasts, monitoring budget and manpower needs throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in project meetings, providing updates on scheduling, progress, and potential risks.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience as a Planner, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally in the airport sector.
Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of project management principles and scheduling techniques.
Experience working on airport or large infrastructure projects in the Middle East is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
