Overview of the role:

As an Inventory Control Executive, you will be responsible for managing marketing, pricing, procurement, and availability of spare parts for FAMCO’s products. Your role is critical in achieving sales revenue, gross margin targets, and ensuring parts availability and efficient stock management. You will directly support customer satisfaction by minimizing downtime for vehicles and equipment through effective supply chain and inventory management.

What you will do:

• Drive marketing and sales campaigns for spare parts to achieve targeted sales volumes.
• Analyze and implement effective pricing strategies, including discounts, incentives, and negotiation with suppliers.
• Manage purchasing and inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and turnover.
• Ensure timely settlement of goods receipt discrepancy claims.
• Monitor aging/excess stock and take corrective action (returns, disposal, etc.).
• Maintain high parts availability, including forecasting for new model introductions.
• Expedite back-orders, identify alternative sources, and ensure supply speed for urgent requirements.
• Optimize supply chain processes, including transport methods and logistics providers, to minimize import costs.
  
  

Required skills to be successful:

• Graduate in any discipline (Engineering or Technical Diploma preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in automotive spare parts or inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and data processing.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze data, manage pricing strategies, and negotiate effectively.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work cross-culturally.
• Strong interpersonal understanding and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.

• A strong educational background with a preference for technical or engineering qualifications.
• Proven track record of managing automotive spare parts inventory.
• Experience in ERP and data-driven inventory management systems.
• Competencies in communication, relationship building, cross-cultural sensitivity, and adaptability.
