We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Operations Specialist - East Region, Saudi Arabia within People & Communications (P&C) team to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

As a People Operations Specialist you will support in delivering the people and communications agenda within the responsibility area.

People Operations Specialist focuses on local people and communications operations. These operations typically require local language, understanding of legal requirements and practices, and close physical proximity to handle the work and work in close collaboration with the whole People & Communications team. The role reports to People Operations Manager, Saudi Arabia.

What will you do?

Local People Operations – Responsible for delivering agreed local operations. These activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Advising line managers and employees in correct usage of People & Communication operating model (self-service options and usage of different services provided by People & Communications function)
  • Onboarding: ensuring smooth onboarding process in alignment with global process. Examples: up-to-date materials, organizing induction sessions, onboarding process completion and feedback analysis
  • Offboarding: ensuring smooth offboarding process in alignment with global process. Examples: up-to-date materials, organizing exit interviews, offboarding process completion and feedback analysis.
  • Support in driving culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion related activities
  • Local benefits administration and related communications
  • Relocation support for local hires from abroad, including Graebel/vendor initiation
  • Employment, time and attendance and payroll related preparations: collecting information, preparation and coordination of locally required documents
  • Support in organizational data management activities, for example in data upload preparations
  • Promote usage of available Workday reports and dashboards
  • Support in delivering all annual People & Communications processes, e.g. by conducting translations, process trainings, communications in alignment with People & Communications Center of Expertise guidance
  • Leadership and Talent Review: support P&C Business Partner in preparing and delivering Leadership and Talent Review sessions, planning actions, and follow-up agreed actions
  • Engagement: support P&C Business Partner in preparations to launch engagement surveys, support in results analysis, team discussions, action planning and follow-up

Are you the one?

  • Bachelor in HR / Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR role.
  • Native Arabic speaker with excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills.
  • Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience of managing and developing onboarding and offboarding process and practicalities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for handling sensitive customer interactions.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
