Role Description
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and dynamic Government Relations Officer (GRO) to oversee and coordinate all government-related activities. The GRO will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Saudi governmental regulations and procedures, serving as the company’s primary liaison with government authorities, and supporting business operations by managing licensing, visa processing, and other regulatory requirements in high-volume, time-sensitive environments.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and dynamic Government Relations Officer (GRO) to oversee and coordinate all government-related activities. The GRO will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Saudi governmental regulations and procedures, serving as the company’s primary liaison with government authorities, and supporting business operations by managing licensing, visa processing, and other regulatory requirements in high-volume, time-sensitive environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials, agencies, and relevant bodies to support the organization's objectives.
- Manage all visa processes, including Iqama issuance, renewal, cancellation, exit/re-entry permits, and other employee-related documentation.
- Oversee and ensure the timely renewal of company licenses, permits, and registrations (e.g., CR, MISA, municipality licenses).
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, ensuring relevant updates are communicated to internal stakeholders while supporting the Legal and HR departments with documentation and government compliance.
- Ensure the organization adheres to government laws and regulations by coordinating with internal departments and managing correspondence.
- Strong understanding of Saudi labour law, immigration regulations, and business licensing processes.
- With relevant experience as a GRO or in a similar government liaison role in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- Valid Saudi driving license and willingness to travel locally when required.
