The opportunity

The role of the Network Control Local Support Engineer (Saudi Arabia) is to provide on-site network support for the local customers, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems and networks. This includes installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to networking, printing, and other IT functions. The Network Control Local Support Engineer will also be responsible for providing user support, training, and assistance in using various applications and software programs.

• Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc.
• Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project. May include preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency.
• Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Your background

• Experience Level. More than 5 years SCADA experience and at least 3 years in Network Manager.
• Education qualification. Bachelor on Electrical and Electronics Engineering or similar
• Addition Task Required. Provide on-site network support for the local customers, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems and networks. This includes installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to networking, printing, and other IT functions.
• The Network Control Local Support Engineer will also be responsible for providing user support, training, and assistance in using various applications and software programs.
• SCADA-RTU integration. Energy and Utility procession 60870-5-101,104.
• MODBUS TCP, RTU.DNP3, ICCP.
• OPC UA, DA, MQTT.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required. Arabic is plus.
