About this Position At Henkel, the Key Account Manager (KAM) plays a strategic role in driving business success by building and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers. You will be responsible for managing high-impact accounts, developing joint business plans, and driving sustainable growth through tailored sales strategies, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong understanding of the customer’s business needs.

- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring long-term partnership and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement annual business plans aligned with Henkel’s sales and marketing strategy.
- Drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability within assigned accounts.
- Manage sales forecasts, budgeting, and reporting to ensure accurate and strategic planning.
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and promotional agreements.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Analyze customer POS data, category performance, and KPIs to optimize account performance.
- Coordinate customer-specific trade marketing initiatives to boost in-store visibility and conversion.
- Collaborate with customers on sustainable solutions aligned with Henkel’s sustainability agenda.
- Provide proactive solutions during supply disruptions, quality issues, or customer concerns.
- Leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance engagement, visibility, and efficiency.
- Build strong relationships across customer hierarchies and develop networking opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in key account management, preferably in FMCG or industrial B2B sectors.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in sales tools, CRM platforms, and Excel-based data analysis.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
