Job Objective
Manage all activities related to managing media operations, particularly broadcast production of JCSA races and events with the support of media production service providers. Work collaboratively with other functions to group the efforts of the teams towards the achievement of JCSA’s strategic objectives
Organizational Strategy
- Contribute to the development of the strategic and operational plan and manage the implementation of activities.
- Continuously monitor the performance of team members to ensure performance deviations are identified in a timely manner, and actions are implemented to meet performance targets.
Operational
- Develop the Media Operations plans, ensure its alignment with the directorate’s strategy, and manage its implementation.
- Develop JCSA’s media rights distribution strategy and plans aiming at maximizing JCS’s revenue.
- Grow global distribution of JCSA media rights by extending existing deals and establishing new partnerships.
- Define requirements and processes for broadcast production of JCSA events and races.
- Conduct value analysis, set prices, prepare sales quota and develop broadcasting agreements.
- Work hand in and with the Racing Planning teams to understand their media operations requirements for the different races.
- Secure the sale of broadcasting and media rights and enter into broadcasting agreements to guarantee the exclusive right to broadcast JCSA live racing events.
- Work hand in hand with key broadcast partners throughout the process of media production to ensure excellence in delivery.
- Work hand in hand with the legal team to ensure protection of JCSA rights and to ensure broadcast partners compliance with the Saudi intellectual property (IP) law.
- Ensure the completion of activities on time, within budget and with quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices related to media operations, and provide advice to improve work outcomes activities.
- Policies, Procedures and Guidelines
- Provide input to support the development of the directorate's systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure team members’ compliance and adherence with all policies, processes, standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Management Reporting
● Report to the director on the progress of activities against the annual business plans, opportunities, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required, to make an informed decision.
Propose recommendations/alternatives basis analysis to senior-level management and provide direction on areas needing additional research or improvement.
People Supervision
● Work hand in hand with the direct reports to develop their personal development plans.
● Conduct and review performance appraisals for direct reports to identify areas of development and areas of strength.
● Identify the workforce, recruitment, training and development needs to ensure the availability and readiness of competent, qualified and highly motivated staff.
● Contribute to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued and leveraged to achieve the vision and mission of JCSA.
● Help in building a learning organization that will continue to grow, flourish and enhance the skills and abilities of employees.
● Create an environment that facilitates healthy relationships among all team members.
Other Related Assignments
● Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner and uphold and adhere to JCSA’s policies and procedures.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or any other relevant field
Required Years of Experience
● Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar role, 2 years of which are in managerial role
