Job Purpose
Support the vendor registration process and conduct vendor pre-qualification activities to ensure accurate and complete vendor records. This role involves maintaining effective relationships with key vendors and supporting performance review processes to help optimize vendor delivery and compliance.
Vendor Registration
Handle the registration of new vendors in the vendor system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Conduct vendor pre-qualification checks to verify compliance with SOPC standards.
Relationship Management
Maintain regular contact with key vendors to support ongoing partnerships and service quality.
Serve as a point of coordination for vendor issues, escalating complex matters when necessary.
Vendor Performance Management
Help track and assess vendor performance using agreed metrics.
Coordinate with vendors to address gaps and support the implementation of improvement plans as needed.
Collaboration and Coordination
Work closely with teams across procurement, finance, and operations to ensure vendor-related tasks are aligned with organizational needs.
Facilitate communication between vendors and internal teams to resolve operational issues efficiently.
Risk Management
Support efforts to identify potential vendor-related risks and suggest mitigating actions.
Contribute to continuity planning by flagging risks that could impact the supply chain or service quality.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and propose opportunities to improve vendor management processes.
Stay updated on best practices and support the implementation of relevant changes.
Reporting and Insights
Prepare routine reports on vendor performance and activity status for internal use.
Share insights to support departmental reviews and leadership decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement
Engage constructively with both vendors and internal stakeholders to build trust and ensure alignment with SOPC expectations.
Support the promotion of consistent and effective vendor management practices across functions.
