Senior Data Privacy Consultant - 2-Year Engagement

Location: Riyadh, KSA.

Years of Experience: a minimum of 6 years of experience in data privacy and protection.

Project Duration: 2 years.

Working Arrangement: on-site.

Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken).

We are seeking a Senior Data Privacy Consultant with a minimum of 6 years of experience in data privacy and protection to join our team on a 2-year engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in privacy laws, frameworks, and controls implementation, with proven experience managing compliance programs and conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs). This role requires a deep understanding of the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and the ability to guide organizations in building robust privacy programs.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in data privacy and protection.
• Proven expertise in PDPL, global privacy frameworks, and privacy control implementation.
• Experience conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Track record in designing and managing data privacy compliance programs.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent.
  
  

Other Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data privacy and protection initiatives in line with PDPL and relevant frameworks.
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain privacy compliance programs.
• Advise on privacy controls, policies, and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
• Provide expert guidance to business units, IT teams, and compliance functions on data privacy risks.
• Monitor, review, and update privacy documentation and controls in response to regulatory changes.
• Deliver privacy awareness and training programs for employees and stakeholders.
• Support incident response processes related to personal data breaches.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the organization in privacy-related matters.
