How You'll Make an Impact
In this role as the head of Regional Strategy & Transformation, you’ll functionally report into the global Head of Business Strategy and work closely with the Regional Leadership team to implement the strategy and transform the business towards profitable growth. Specifically, you will:
- Develop the regional strategy together with the Regional Leadership team, and define clear, actionable measures & initiatives towards profitable growth
- Lead regional strategic growth plans and transformation initiatives to ensure strategy implementation; occasionally drive global strategic projects with cross-functional workstreams
- Work closely with the Regional Leadership and SE Hub teams to develop business plans, support go-to-market and sales excellence activities
- Support the global market & competitive intelligence team with regional competitive insights and regional market evaluation, together with the local countries
- Drive the preparation for recurring regional business reviews and provide executive support to the Regional Head for ad-hoc strategically important topics
- Provide executive support to Business leadership, with ad-hoc topics and presentations to various stakeholders, for e.g., SE Executive Board, etc.
What You Bring
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, and / or economics or MBA required
- Necessarily multiple years of prior working experience in strategy consulting and / or in-house strategy teams with a focus on strategy implementation and business transformation
- Prior experience in the Oil & Gas / Chemicals / Maritime / Process Industries with understanding of the market mechanics and future developments, especially around energy transition and sustainability
- Strong analytical skills as well as proficiency in MS Office, incl. constructing and delivering executive presentations with multi-layered content; Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is an advantage
- Self-driven, with hands-on experience in interacting with and leading international teams in complex interdisciplinary projects
- Effective English language and communication skills to position ideas and deliver key messages to all leadership levels
