Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Manager Landscaping to join our team. The Manager Landscaping is responsible for overseeing and managing all landscaping activities, ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing landscaping projects, managing a team of landscapers, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Plan and design landscaping projects, including gardens, parks, and other outdoor spaces.
• Review, as required all the drawings related to the Landscape works like Design Drawings, Shop Drawings, As-Built Drawings, or others.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of landscaping features such as lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and irrigation systems.
• Manage and supervise a team of landscapers, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Ensure all landscaping work complies with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to assess conditions and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain records of all landscaping activities, including budgets, schedules, and maintenance logs.
• Develop and implement strategies for pest control, soil management, and plant health.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in landscaping.
• Collaborative mindset, good communication skills, ability to operate effectively in a highly dynamic business with multiple stakeholders.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and landscape design principles.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in landscaping software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license.
• Prior experience must include significant project management, delivery management, technical management assignments at the Senior level.
