Manager, Digital Infrastructure (990)

Job Purpose

The Manager, Digital Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the stability, availability, security, and performance of SOPC’s digital infrastructure operational services. The role leads infrastructure operations, incident and access management, and system monitoring to ensure reliable, secure, and high-quality IT services across the organization. The position plays a critical role in maintaining operational continuity, enforcing access controls, and supporting the effective adoption of digital solutions in coordination with Digital Solutions and Cybersecurity teams.

Digital Infrastructure

• Lead the management of physical and virtual infrastructure environments, including servers, networks, hosting platforms, and data centers, ensuring high availability, resilience, and performance.
• Oversee routine maintenance activities such as system updates, upgrades, patching, and capacity management to ensure infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure infrastructure readiness to support enterprise applications and digital solutions in coordination with the Digital Solutions team.
• Drive proactive monitoring of network, system, and application performance, identifying risks and implementing preventive measures to improve stability.
• Ensure service requests related to digital infrastructure addressed in line with defined service levels and user experience standards.
  
  

Incident, Problem & Event Management

• Oversee root cause analysis for major incidents and recurring issues, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to restore services and monitor closure of incidents.
  
  

Access Management & Security Controls

• Design, implement, and enforce access management controls across systems and platforms in line with approvals, policies, and segregation of duties.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity and GRC teams to ensure infrastructure controls align with organizational security standards.
  
  

Vendor & Service Provider Management

• Manage infrastructure-related vendors and service providers, monitoring service delivery against agreed SLAs and contractual obligations.
• Support procurement, renewal, and performance evaluation of infrastructure services and managed service contracts.
• Escalate performance issues and drive continuous improvement with external providers.
  
  

Operational Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Establish and maintain operational procedures, standards, and documentation for infrastructure operations.
• Monitor operational KPIs, service levels, and system health metrics, reporting issues and improvement opportunities to IT leadership.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and internal assessments related to IT operations and infrastructure controls.
  
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Digital Solutions teams to support application deployments, upgrades, and integrations.
• Partner with business units to understand operational needs and ensure infrastructure services support effective technology adoption.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity, GRC, and enterprise IT leadership to ensure alignment with security, compliance, and governance requirements
