Manager - Data & Analytics

ROLE MAIN PURPOSE

Will be responsible to provide operational expertise to execute and implement the collection, analysis, and presentation of data related to IT operations, projects, and initiatives and working closely with IT teams to gather requirements, design reporting solutions, and provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Functional Responsibilities

• Support to Conduct the analysis of IT-related data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyse complex datasets.
• Maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate key IT metrics and performance indicators.
• Apply statistical analysis and data modelling to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and requirements.
• Implement a comprehensive reporting framework for IT-related metrics and performance indicators.
• Maintain standardized reporting templates, formats, and schedules.
• Support to automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and ensure timely delivery of reports.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data used for reporting.
• Assist in Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess IT performance and effectiveness.
• Analyse IT service levels, system availability, incident response, and other performance indicators.
• Identify areas of improvement and propose recommendations to optimize IT operations and processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to establish performance targets and monitor progress towards achieving them.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support IT decision-making.
• Support in establish data governance policies, standards, and procedures for IT-related data.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement data quality controls, data cleansing, and data integration processes.
• Oversee data management activities, including data integration, data warehousing, and metadata management
  
  

Educational Qualifications

A Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

Professional And Technical Certificates

ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), BI certifications, PMP are preferable.

Professional Experience

Minimum 5+ years’ experience as IT data and analysis..

Computer Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as these are commonly used tools in business operations.
• Knowledge with statistical analysis software packages like SPSS, SAS, or Stata to perform advanced statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modelling.
• Knowledge in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports for data analysis and presentation.
• Knowledge of DBMS platforms like Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server for effective data storage, retrieval, and management. Understanding of database querying languages like SQL is crucial for data analysis.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies like ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data integration, and dimensional modelling. This skill enables the design and management of data repositories optimized for analysis.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Understanding how to leverage cloud-based infrastructure and services for data analysis enhances scalability and flexibility.
